Overview

The mission and work of Global Partners in Care is rooted in equity, compassion and shared learning across organizations, contexts and borders. For many years, this approach has shaped our partnership program and reinforced a core belief: meaningful progress in global palliative care happens when people learn with and from one another.

Across our network, we have seen the value of creating spaces where individuals united by a shared purpose – and bringing diverse experiences and perspectives – can challenge assumptions, generate new ideas and inspire collective action.

In collaboration with the Elea Institute, we are building on this foundation to engage a broader global palliative care community. While there is a long history of impactful work in this field, the global need for palliative care remains vastly unmet – creating both urgency and opportunity for deeper collaboration.

Learning from those who have dedicated their lives to advancing palliative care globally – and building upon their incredible work – we launched Collaborating for Global Impact to foster increased collaboration, alignment and shared opportunities across regions and disciplines.

Global Convenings: Creating Space for Shared Learning

A core component of Collaborating for Global Impact is the convening of diverse leaders and practitioners from around the world. These gatherings create intentional space for global knowledge exchange, reflection and action – moving toward a shared vision for the future of palliative care.

Dublin Convening

More than 30 global palliative care leaders gathered in Dublin, Ireland for a two-day Collaborating for Global Impactworkshop focused on shared strategy, innovation, and collective vision for the future of global palliative care, where participants co-created testable catalyst projects to advance collaboration across regions and disciplines.
