As a recipient of the Global Partners in Care and African Palliative Care Association’s African Palliative Care Education Scholarship, Anna Ayugi has been able to focus on her skill development rather than scraping together money to fund her education.
This summer I interned with Global Partners in Care. This included working with the African Palliative Care Association and attending the International African Palliative Care Conference in Uganda.
The 7th International African Palliative Care Conference brought together palliative care practitioners, researchers, advocates and patients for a few engaging, full days of learning and sharing.
Each year, Global Partners in Care and the African Palliative Care Association (APCA) offer education scholarships to enhance palliative care knowledge and skills of nurses and social workers in Africa.
