Chief Innovations Officer, Hospice of the Western Reserve
John Mastrojohn III is the Chief Innovation Officer at Hospice of the Western Reserve (HWR) in northeastern Ohio where he has served since September 2019. Prior to joining HWR, John was Chief Operating Officer at National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), where he has held a variety of roles since 2006. John has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Akron and holds a Master of Science in nursing administration and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kent State University. During the 2004/2005 academic year, he served as a Fulbright Fellow in Hungary focusing on end-of-life care development. John has served as adjunct faculty at Kent State University and the University of Pécs, (Pécs, Hungary).
